Please don’t forget to register.\n\n\n\n\nREGISTER\n\n\n\n\nFrom police brutality in Philadelphia to child detentions and military occupation in Palestine\, the U.S. is implicated in systemic racism across borders.\nYou are invited to a special Philadelphia-based webinar\, Going Forward Together: Palestine as a lens for collective liberation.\nThe webinar will center Black\, Palestinian\, and Jewish panelists\, including Sa’ed Atshan\, Assistant Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies at Swarthmore College; Rebecca Pierce\, African-American and Jewish filmmaker in San Francisco; and The Reverend Dr. Leslie D. Callahan\, first female pastor of St. Paul’s Baptist Church in Philadelphia. The conversation will be moderated by Tarek Abuata.\nThe panelists will discuss topics ranging from common struggles in countering racist systems of white supremacy and political Zionism\, to efforts across movements to advocate for collective liberation\, to our role in this movement. Please register in advance.\nDirectly following the Webinar\, at 4:45\, there will be an opportunity to share thoughts and reactions in a one-hour informal discussion hosted by the Tikkun Olam Chavurah and moderated by Rabbi Linda Holtzman.
