DESCRIPTION:Kennett Meeting Friends continues to meet every third Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm.\nNext discussion will be Jan 20 to continue with Thomas Kelly’s A Testament of Devotion  focusing on the essay “The Simplification of Life“\nPlease join us if you have read the section or just want to explore a little more about Thomas Kelly!\nThomas Kelly was an American Quaker educator.  \nKelly received word on January 17\, 1941\, that Harper and Brothers was willing to meet with him to discuss the publication of a devotional book. He died of a heart attack in Haverford\, Pennsylvania later that same day. Three months later Kelly’s colleague\, Douglas V. Steere\, submitted five of Kelly’s devotional essays to the publisher along with a biographical sketch of Kelly.
