DESCRIPTION:In October we will hear from members of Delaware’s Coalition to Dismantle the New Jim Crow\, a grass-roots organization committed to social justice for all. Join us on Tuesday\, Oct 25 at 7 pm at Kennett Friends Meeting. \nConversations on Race are just that — an opportunity to listen\, share\, and learn about what “racism” is an looks like in our society these days. Each meeting begins with a short presentation\, followed by discussions in small groups\, which give us the chance to listen and know each other better. Talks usually begin at 7 pm\, and are hosted in location near town\, such as Kennett Meeting House\, La Comunidad Hispana\, and Church of the Open Door.
