SUMMARY:Empty Bowls Event - Fight Hunger on 2/25
DESCRIPTION:5th Annual Empty Bowls Event \nThe Empty Bowls Event is designed to raise awareness of hunger and food insecurity in our community while raising funds to support the Kennett Food Cupboard.  A simple meal of soup is served.  Attendees learn about services available through KACS\, enjoy a silent auction\, and receive a handmade bowl as a reminder of the families in need living in our community. \nAttendees can come for lunch (11:30 – 1:30pm) or dinner (6:00 to 8:30pm). This year’s event is held at the Red Clay Room\, 423 Dalmatian Street\, Kennett Square\, PA.  \nTickets are $25.  Sponsor tickets are also available. DESCRIPTION:Concord & Western Quarters invite all to gather together for a Roller Skating Party! \nSunday\, February 28th   \nIf you are coming from afar\, make a day of it! Families & f/Friends from both Quarters are invited attend Worship at Kennett Friends Meeting at 11:00\, and stay for a simple lunch afterwards. Then we’ll all head down to the rink (about 20 minutes away). Of course\, you could always just meet us at the rink\, too! Those coming from Kennett should be there by 2:00. \nLunch will be provided\, but please RSVP to let us know how many in your party\, so we can plan enough food.
