SUMMARY:July 2016 Quarterly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Reaching Out and Reaching In for the Light in times of Darkness: Spiritual Listening\nHow do we respond to Friends in need?\nAs individuals?\nAs a Meeting? \nHow many of us  expect an honest answer when we ask “How are you?” How  many would be prepared for an honest answer that wasn’t “fine”? In the Religious Society of Friends we rely on each other for pastoral care. This July QM program will allow us to better understand what that means\, and lead us to explore ways in which we become stronger care-communities\, and how we can “listen each other into wholeness.”  Worship and breaks will be integrated into the adult program; a children’s program will run concurrently\, and we will all gather for lunch (provided by our hosts). \nSchedule:\n9:00 am check in\n9:15-10:30 am Program part 1\n10:30-11:30 Worship & queries\n11:30 – 12:30 Program part 2 & singing\n12:30-1:15 pm Lunch (provided!!)\n1:15-2:30 Meeting for Business \nChildren ages K-8 will join the Quarter’s new Youth Activities Coordinator\, Christian Garber\, for a morning full of fun activities.
