Friends, there will be a Black Lives Matter demonstration on Labor Day (September 7) from 11 a.m. to noon in front of the Wilmington Friends Meetinghouse on Fourth Street. The theme will be slanted toward work/labor issues, i.e., equitable jobs and pay, raising the minimum wage, and ending systemic racism in hiring practices and job advancement. Signs might reflect this theme.
ALL ARE WELCOME.
Please wear a face mask and keep socially distant.
