Questions about child safety policies and practices are frequently raised by Friends, and this program is offered to support volunteers and paid staff with care of children and youth in our meetings. (Note: In Pennsylvania, volunteers and paid staff who work directly with children are considered mandated reporters under state law.)
On Saturday, October 24, we’ll gather in the Cherry Street Room at Friends Center in Philadelphia for mandated reporter training with the PA Family Support Alliance. The 3-hour training includes information on recognizing and reporting child abuse.
