Western Quarterly Meeting, Religious Society of Friends (Quakers)

The Youth Activities Coordinator of Western Quarterly Meeting provides leadership to and support of Quarter-wide youth activities in Western Quarter, a community of 10 Monthly Meetings in southern Chester County and northern Delaware.

Responsibilities include:

(1) arranging and managing Quarter-wide youth activities and programs, (2) planning and organizing youth activities during Quarterly Meetings, (3) providing support  to individual Monthly Meetings in their efforts to strengthen their youth religious education programming. The Youth Activities Coordinator also facilitates and manages volunteer involvement in youth activities including implementation and oversight of all child safety policies and procedures. S/he works in close partnership with the Quarter Coordinator, who also supervises this position. This is estimated to be a 15 hour per month position.

The optimal candidate will have proven skills and abilities relevant to the tasks above and have demonstrated experience in working with organizations that embody and/or are consistent with the principles and values of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
