KENNETT MONTHLY MEETING
Kennett Meeting boasts a vibrant community whose activity grows from a solid spiritual foundation. A white-washed stone meeting was completed in 1814 and replaced in 1873 by a large red brick building on the same site on East State Street. The present structure, built in 1958, includes spacious facilities for meetings, classrooms, library, kitchen and dining and also houses the Western Quarterly Meeting office. Kennett Monthly Meeting also cares for Old Kennett Meeting House on Route 1, near Hamorton, and holds Worship at Old Kennett at 9 am on the fourth Sunday in June, July and August.
