The Empty Bowls Event is designed to raise awareness of hunger and food insecurity in our community while raising funds to support the Kennett Food Cupboard. A simple meal of soup is served. Attendees learn about services available through KACS, enjoy a silent auction, and receive a handmade bowl as a reminder of the families in need living in our community.
Attendees can come for lunch (11:30 – 1:30pm) or dinner (6:00 to 8:30pm). This year’s event is held at the Red Clay Room, 423 Dalmatian Street, Kennett Square, PA.
Proceeds will help KACS eliminate hunger in our community, assisting the growing number of families that need support. The Kennett Food Cupboard currently provides nutritional food to over 1,200 individuals each month.
