Teen Opportunity to Meet Other Quaker Teens
Is your teen interested in widening their Quaker circle of Friends? The Peace Fair is a perfect opportunity to do that. Held right here in the middle of Bucks Quarter at Buckingham Meeting. The Young Friends will gather Friday evening the 19th, and be together until Sunday the 21st after worship.
The Peace Fair happens on the 20th.

Friendly Adult Presences Needed as Chaperones for Young Friends at The Peace Fair
Friendly Adult Presences work with PYM youth and are the backbone of our Children’s, Middle School and Young Friends Programs. We are always in need of volunteers who are interested in supporting the care, spiritual development, work and play of the Yearly Meeting’s children and teens. Friendly Adult Presences may be parents supporting their children and programs, high school or college students who enjoy being with younger people and wish to gain experience, adults who enjoy the mutual gain of being in the presence of young people.
Safety is a top concern for Philadelphia Yearly meeting. In order to volunteer as a Friendly Adult Presence, you will be asked to complete some simple forms and consent to a background check.Please visit the Youth Program Volunteer webpages to learn more!
