Theme and Activities

Come join Young Friends for a weekend of fun and community! We’ll do service to the community, travel into center city Philadelphia for dinner and the William Penn Lecture, and make plenty of time for our usual Young Friendly fun!

Registration

Registration is open! You can register online (using a credit card or a “pay on site” option) or you can register using the paper form, by downloading and completing the form and mailing it in with your payment (scholarship available!) to: PYM Young Friends, 1515 Cherry Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102.

• COST: $55. Full and partial scholarship are available! Checks can be made out to Philadelphia Yearly Meeting
• MEDICAL FORM: If you haven’t attended a Young Friends gathering before, or you haven’t attended since before July of 2013, you will need to mail in a new medical form or bring a completed one with you to the gathering.

What to Bring

Everything from the standard packing list as well as:

• warm outdoor wear – we’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors!
• $10-$15 to spend on dinner in Philadelphia

Getting There and Away

Green Street Monthly Meeting is located in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia at 45 West School House Lane. Google Maps directions are accurate. Once you’ve registered, keep an eye out for the carpool list in your inbox to plan your ride-shares.

The gathering starts at 7pm on Friday evening. Please come fed – although there will be snacks, no dinner will be served.

Parents are welcome to attend Meeting for Worship with Green Street Monthly Meeting on Sunday morning at 10:30am. Please pick up Young Friends between 11:30am and 12pm.
