Dear Friends,
Our PYM Spiritual Formation Working Group is planning a new intergenerational program focusing on Young Adult Friends – in community with us all. This program will begin in Fall, 2014. We have heard the voices of our many Friends. In heeding God’s call, we welcome the energies and embrace the gifts of our young adults. We look forward to joining with Young Adult Friends in commitment to:
- Participate in worship sharing groups
- Grow in spiritual practice and faithful experience
- Move together in witness to the Eternal in our lives
The program will be 8 or 9 months in length. It will include monthly spiritual friendship groups, held locally. It may also include regional reading groups. There will be several one-day workshops throughout the program for everyone to participate in together. The workshops will be facilitated by the Spiritual Formation Working Group.
The success of this program depends on the input of those it hopes to serve; Young Adult Friends. Your hopes and ideas are especially important in developing the program. We invite you to join us in planning and conveying the message of this program in whatever way you can: spreading the word, sharing thoughts, meeting with us either in person or by email. Our first meeting for planning will be at 9AM on Saturday, January 18, 2014. The location will be Plymouth Monthly Meeting, Germantown and Butler Pikes, Plymouth Meeting, Pa 19462.. We will be holding other meetings as well. We hope you can join us in any one or all of them.
